"Bobby Tucker has been acting as a buyer’s agent in my attempt to buy a second home in Florida. "Bobby has been relentless in his efforts to get me the best deal available. This can be quite difficult given the unsettled nature of the Florida real estate market in which sellers and buyers often do not see eye-to-eye, as the following vignette will illustrate. We found a group of townhouses that were being put up for bid. They looked too expense for my budget, but Bobby was able to induce the developer’s agent to give us a reasonable expectation of what the house might go for. This turned out to be in within my budget. Better yet, hoping to preempt the auction process, Bobby was able to develop a sufficient relationship with the developer so that the developer would listen to my offers before the auction. Until the day of the auction. Even at the auction site on the day of the auction, Bobby kept trying to get the developer to sign off, much to the chagrin of the auctioneer, who might have to take a smaller cut if the house was sold before the auction. The auctioneer expressed his displeasure by trying to throw Bobby out of the auction. As Bobby stood his ground, the auctioneer called the police to remove Bobby. The police refused, as the large crowd of bidders continued to shout, “let him bid.” The auctioneer relented and Bobby proceeded to bid for one of the townhouses. Bobby won the auction, at a price almost $100,000 lower that the price I had offered before the auction. The place erupted in applause and the police woman that had refused to eject Bobby hugged him. Now that is what I call service".
